KimCharisma Carpenter is an American actor, best known for her performance as 'Cordelia Chase,' in the beloved series 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer'. Carpenter also trained in dance and was an experienced cheerleader. Carpenter only became an actor after a luck. When a commercial agent spotted her as she waited tables in Los Angeles, Carpenter quickly became a model for commercials to a prominent role in one of the most popular fiction dramas of the 1990s. After years of playing "Cordelia," Carpenter played short-term roles in popular teen shows such as Miss Match, 'Charmed and the Veronica Mars. The reality series she hosted on the 'Investigation Discovery' network 'Surviving Evil' (originally titled 'I Survived Evil'), shocked a lot of people. The show featured Carpenter who told her story of horror of being raped by a serial rapist when she was 21. This exposed a side to Carpenter that many viewers didn't have the opportunity to. Carpenter was assaulted and killed by Henry Hubbard Jr., an experienced 29-year-old San Diego police officer. Hubbard was able to take Carpenter hostage and instructed her to tie up her two companions. Carpenter resisted the instructions of Hubbard, and allowed plenty of time for her companions to tackle Hubbard. Hubbard and her friends both suffered superficial gunshot injuries. Hubbard was later taken into custody. Carpenter was able to save a crucial piece of evidence which was a flashlight police-issued. This helped secure an imprisonment of 56 years for the serial violator.
